This story breaks my heart :(

Knowing the little bit that we do about what Mrs. Dunham went through - the sacrifice, the unconditional love, the support in a society not quite ready to accept her grandson they way he was in the 1950's...and for her to come within 2 days of at least seeing her beloved grandson on the presidential ballot. It is hard to imagine her joy and yet their family's heartbreak at losing her so close to such an historical date. I hope Mrs. Dunham has found everlasting peace and that her family is able to get through this difficult time while embarking on this historic election.

Peace to you, Mrs. Dunham and thank you for helping to raise the magnificent man I hope to elect 11/04/08.
